Our Purpose

To improve college access and graduation rates for a diverse group of high-achieving Chatham County high school students who are low-income and often first-generation entrants.

Our free program includes:

  • Informative workshops that build a student’s and family’s college knowledge

  • Peer support through a positive cohort of like-minded students

  • 1:1 mentoring, starting sophomore year

  • College visits all four years of high school

  • Free ACT test preparation

  • Access to on-campus, pre-college seminars and classes

  • Individualized college counseling, including the application and selection processes

  • Ongoing persistence counseling to ensure a positive transition to and through college

Ambitious 8th graders apply to our free 8-year, comprehensive program.

Successful applicants are inducted in the fall of their high school freshman year.

We support and advise our Scholars throughout high school and even counsel them through their critical college years.
